For midweek breaks taken before June, for smaller groups of up to 10 people and who only require 4 of the 8 ensuite bedrooms, a Monday to Friday stay is just £1,000. You still get full use of the lounge, spacious dining room, games room and kitchen. Larger groups up to 20 people can book the whole house for just £1,750 for the 4 nights.

For those who love history, take a visit to the National Trust's Arlington Court, where you'll find the fantastic National Trust Carriage Museum. Around Braunton Burrows you can still see concrete mock-ups of landing craft which were used by American forces to rehearse the attack.

If you're a golf enthusiast, there are several golf courses in the area, with Ilfracombe Golf Club offering breath-taking views of the coastline; you can see the sea from every tee. A 10% discount on green fees is available to any golfers staying at Marine Court.

There are also many art galleries and shops in the area, showcasing works from local artists. The town has had a long history with arts and crafts, including Damien Hirst who lived close by and has loaned the 66 foot high statue Verity to the town. It's located on the pier, creating an imposing entrance to the harbour.

A day trip to Lundy Island is a must-do, where you can enjoy stunning views of the coast and learn about its history. You can also enjoy various outdoor activities such as hiking, bird watching, and fishing.

For those who prefer relaxing indoors, our holiday let offers a range of options such as board games, smart TVs and a games room with a pool table. Or grab a book from our shelves and curl up in the window seats to enjoy it.

And of course, no trip to the coast is complete without indulging in a classic afternoon tea, which is available in many local cafes and restaurants or perhaps it'll be fish and chips on the beach.
